Here are some of the Proven Ways

The most common problem for marketers is for having too much to do with very little time to do it. Moreover, even with the advent of inbound marketing, the amount of work that needs to be done daily for people in this field never has lessened. In fact, with my years of experience in marketing, I’ll even go as far as saying that I’m doing more now that what I had to do daily five years ago.

Video Marketing Overview

Video marketing though, has provided this industry a method of creating something, which will do a big chunk of our tasks for us. It is something that you’ll publish and it will do several actions for you. It can explain, call for action and entertain,

Obviously, a video content could contain far more information than any image or audio content can (something we’ve learned here in Atlanta Video a long time ago). In addition, we have to mention that video content does a better job at influencing people towards adopting an idea.

Since the effectively of video is pretty much solidified in the world of marketing, here are some not to be missed tips so your business is not left behind:

Display the Product

Affiliate websites for me probably does this best. Most of them are very good at displaying the product on a video. Viewers feels a certain level of reassurance whenever they find a video of a person highlighting the bright sides of a product; just like how it would have been in person. The video doesn’t even have to include the model’s face. The handling of the product is enough to satisfy that natural curiosity we all have on how a product would respond to its user.

How-to Videos

I’ve lost count on how many affiliate-marketing sites I’ve been in, that has a how-to video right on its homepage. Because of not only the proven fact that video increases the chance of a sale by 20%, but also because a demonstration easily is attacking to a person’s curiosity.

Customer Testimonials

This is another type of videos usually produced by businesses. This strategy is gaining grounds fast and is catching up with others. Displaying previous customers’ thoughts on how positively your business’ product or services have improved their quality of life is irreplaceable nowadays. With this strategy at hand, it conveys the message that your company or brand is trustworthy and sincere with its offer. Usually testimonials becomes the last draw of a sale or a not interested. Videos are a great way to express sincerity since viewers can see the presenter’s eyes, emotions and way of speech.

Animated Videos

People are growing more inpatient of other people in videos relating how wonderful this product or service would be once you purchase it. This is where animated videos is refreshing the landscape. Viewers are more inclined to watch it and their attention span is extended by few seconds (which is a lot) when an animated video instead of a face babbling is doing the talking. Hand sketching videos is what I’m particularly fond of at the moment.

End With a Call to Action

Because you aren’t producing videos just for the sake of it, monetize it at the end. There is nothing wrong with dedicating a second or two to try to direct customers to your company website, affiliate link or flash a product. After all, you are trying to run those videos for business. Once you get viewers to laugh, be entertained or just be affectionate because of your video, they wouldn’t mind at all seeing something that promotes. In fact, they would even expect that. If your video is so satisfying, it may invoke curiosity, which in that case, a company website at the end is indeed necessary.

Ask Them to Subscribe

If you are hosting the videos on you site, make sure that you have a subscribe button to try to include them to your mailing list. On YouTube however, it comes default. Include asking them to subscribe on your call to action. This enables you to do follow through in the future.
