The competition also matters. Don’t go with the wild wind. Stick with 10,000 or less competition web pages and grow from there.

The way I build backlinks to my coupon blog is quite unique. We all know that quality of an off-page link is more important than quantity. In that respect, focus on niche specific sites and blogs when linking back. For instance, if you’re into freelance writing, get an external link from another blog that touches freelancing, work from home and be your own boss topics.
Google rewards relevant & niche specific links and would rank you higher on their index database. Use your primary keywords as anchor links when linking back. Your ranking will stay ahead for a long time.
